[Trish's first priority is to place the steaming boxes of pizza and whiskey bottle on the counter before she ends up dropping them. She might be a demon, and far from clumsy by any means, but hot pizza is hot pizza and she only has two hands. Second is closing her door, tossing her keys in the direction of her couch and making sure it's locked. It's a habit, even though she's used to doors being broken down instead of broken into.
Which brings her to the third important thing, which is currently laying on her floor. Trish just looks down at her with a sigh, hands on her hips. Where to start.]
Oh no, you come over you at least gotta sit on the couch. Besides, if I didn't want to notice you would I have gone out for food? [She prods her side with a boot before taking them off and heading into the kitchen.] So, what's your poison of choice tonight. I figure you deserve the really good stuff.
[ She sighs, looking up at Trish with a look that says Do I really have to? before she sits up slowly and rubs her neck. ]
Alright, only because I'm a guest.
[ She gets herself up off the floor and walks over to the couch. ] I feel like I walked out of a bad movie. Can you explain why I have to deal with this even though I'm so far from being human now? If I can't be human, I shouldn't have to feel these things, especially now.
Thanks... I'll drink the whiskey. Remind me to pay you back.
[She can handle many a thing after being around Dante long enough, but she'd be a bad person if she just let her lay there after the talk they'd had so far.]
I think you meant because we're friends, and it's more comfortable anyway remember?
[Even if the last time Nikki was over it was a return to civilization gone astray thanks to the twelve, but it was just what happened in this place right. She comes out soon enough with a box of pizza in one hand and two glasses filled with the dark alcohol in the other, setting them on the table in front of the couch.]
Don't worry about it, what else am I going to spend the money I make from work on in this place. But you didn't come here to offer to buy me more booze. [She offers Nikki her glass before picking up her own for a drink when she sits down.] You know, there's a guy I know who sometimes gives me far too much credit who would think sometimes even demons can be like humans. I guess feelings count as part of that too.
